Cesar Franck is today best known for his organ and symphonic
works, but his output also included some beautiful settings of poems by Hugo,
David, Mery, Dumas, De Musset, etc. Sixteen of these have been selected for
the current CD, performed by the young Hungarian soprano Gabriella Letay Kiss,
accompanied by Adrienne Hauser, piano, and, on one track, Tibor Boganyi, cello.
These beautiful songs are well worth discovering!
